Welcome to the 2012 Season of Keene Cal Ripken Baseball

 

Welcome to the Keene Cal Ripken Baseball Association Web Site.

There are 5 divisions/leagues in the KCBRA Spring League and 3 Divisions in our Summer League. The Spring League is made up of the Senior, Junior, Rookie, Pee Wee and Tee Ball leagues. Our league accepts all kids between the ages of 5 and 12, with all kids selected to a team. The Summer League includes players ages 7-12.

Call out for Senior League Coaches for the 2012 Season. We will be selecting coaches for senior league teams at our January meeting. If anyone is interested please submit a coaching application to Dean Joyal by January 15th. djoyal@ne.rr.com

 The Purpose of Keene Cal Ripken Baseball Association is to provide an opportunity for youngsters to learn the fundamentals of baseball and to facilitate their enjoyable participation in this activity so they may become happier and better people.  Objectives include the development of positive social values and character traits, good citizenship, physical and mental well being, and a knowledge, appreciation and interest in baseball.  The primary goal of this program is that all boys and girls who sign up and tryout, be placed on a team and given the opportunity to participate in every game. Additionally, we hope that the welfare of all participants shall be kept free from any adult ambitions or personal glory. If you have any questions or comments about the league, or would like to be part of the league as a coach, board member or just to help out, please don't hesitate to email or call anyone on the Board.
